Skilled Regional (SC 489) closes to new applications from 15 November 2019

With the introduction of the Skilled Regional (subclass 491) visa due to commence on 16 November 2019, the Skilled Regional (subclass 489) visa will be closed to new applications at 11:59 pm on 15 November 2019.

Only those applicants can submit their applications who have been issued invitations to apply on or before 10 September 2019 as it was the last day for intending migrants to receive an invitation to apply for the subclass 489.

You can’t submit any EOIs in SkillSelect after this date.

Important dates to note:

• 10 September 2019 – last day for intending migrants to receive an invitation to apply for the subclass 489. You can’t submit any EOIs in SkillSelect after this date.
  
• 15 November 2019 – last day for people who we have invited to apply for a subclass 489 visa to lodge a subclass 489 visa application
