  • STSOL (Short-term Skilled Occupation List): Ideal for Subclass 190 and 491.

  • ROL (Regional Occupation List): Specifically for Subclass 491 applicants willing to live and work in regional Australia.

  • My job title in Qatar is different from the one on the list. Can I still apply?

Yes. Your eligibility is based on your job duties, not just your title. As long as your daily tasks match at least 80% of the ANZSCO description, you can apply.

  • What is the "Core Skills Occupation List" (CSOL)?

The CSOL is a new, consolidated list introduced for 2025–2026 specifically for the Skills in Demand (SID) Visa. It is not for SC 189, 190 and 491 visas.

  • Do I need a job offer in Australia to be on this list?

For the Subclass 189 and 190, you do not need a job offer. However, your occupation must be "open" for immigration.
